No you didn’t. I question the methodology of this “study.” There do not appear to be the proper controls of the different variables. Also it doesn’t consider that certain professions where jobs are risky are more likely to be in “red states” as state governments are more likely to give incentives for any jobs, not necessarily healthy jobs. To get out of careers many go into the armed forces which definitely involves a greater risk of death than your typical insurance executive in Connecticut.
