It's a bad situation all around. Most landlords are not "corporations" and are at risk of losing their property if rent is not paid. But what will evicting tenants solve? From what I've seen, somewhere around 35-40% of tenants are behind on rent. Landlords would just be shuffling them around. What good would that do? |
