Good point.Because Jesus of Nazareth was still a pretty minor figure at the time the Jews pushed out the Christians. What made him a major religious figure was the success the Christians had in Rome, not the success they had in Judea. And by the time the Christians first converted the wife of a Roman emperor or whatever, centuries had passed and it was too late to recover more detail. |
