Stupid distinction.Yes, a few people died in car accidents while they had covid and were called covid deaths when they should have been called car accident deaths. But the rate of covid deaths is so much higher than the rate of most other unnatural causes of death that the accidental overcount of covid deaths is minimal. There is also a corresponding accidental undercount. The number of excess deaths above what would have been statistically expected since February is slightly higher than the number of recorded covid deaths. And this is despite car accident deaths going down because people have been driving less. |
