You. I thank God you are no longer on the force. But I wonder how many who think the way you do are.

Question: If a person does not physically strike an officer, but merely insults the officer verbally (as was the case with the incident discussed in the video I linked to), would you still think that meting out physical "justice" would be OK? Remember, in this country, such insults are speech protected by the First Amendment.
