People can't have their twats in a twist over names, images, statues, etc..

Give me a logical reason why we should leave these things in place. The way I see it, if you allow kids to grow up around imagery that glorifies racism, then as adults they'll (e.g.) be more likely to toss résumés just because they have names like Sherrod or Tanisha on them, and society has to deal with the ripple effects from such actions. It makes us worse off.
