My Hebrew name is actually a combination of Hebrew and Yiddish. That being said, my parents ended up getting it "wrong" because apparently my great grandfather (who I was named) for always went by his middle name and my grandmother didn't realize that (or just forgot). They found out about 20 years later when they finally located his gravestone (which was entirely in Hebrew) and read what the name said. |
