YOU'RE A MAN AFTER MY OWN HEART SARGE. I TAUGHT HIGH SCHOL HISTORY FOR 35 YEARS ANDSTILL SOMETIMES TRY TO ACT LIKE I'M IN THE CLASSROOM AGAIN. SO GOOD TO KNOW THAT YOU ARE A HISTORY BUFF.Might you have been reading "War As I Knew It" by Patton. I recall reading some remarks he made about how inept and slovenly those recently liberated Jews looked and acted. But, hell, what did he expect them to look like after being beaten up, worked to death and nearly starved for years. Well, we all seem to have feet of clay from time to time. |
