Black people have a far higher tendency toward obesity and diabetes for genetic reasons, irrespective of life style.I don't know about "far higher". The obesity problem has become an epidemic in the black and Latino communities in recent years. No genetic mutation. Diet is the main culprit. It is possible that in recent decades, black men are going for heavier set black women thus passing on those genes and the thinner black women are not reproducing at the same rate. Actually I'd say if you are a heavier set black women you might have a better chance of passing on your genes than a thinner black women. |
