Do people call the police on white people who pass a single counterfeit 20?

I have seen supermarkets in Queens with a photo of someone accused of passing a fake $20 with a photo of the bill and fake serial number. It's usually a white person.

Cashiers are always checking so I guess they must call police on someone.
