They did not resign from the police department. They resigned from only the Emergency Response Team. They did not resign from the police force.Possibly, their resignation was prompted by their PBA's decision not to pay for the legal defense for members of the of this team in relation to the present protests. Solidarity with the two suspended members may not be their only motivation. There are also financial considerations. |
