Posted by ntrainride on Tue Jun 2 00:36:17 2020, in response to Re: Atlanta Buring, posted by jimmymc25 on Mon Jun 1 22:54:12 2020. whatever. i got nothing to apologize for, nothing to lament. grew up as poor as or poorer than most of the black folks (who made up half of the town's population) i lived alongside with and went to school with. and undoubtedly poorer than most of you white devils too. just sayin'.have no doubt that i've been closer to black folks than most of you guys on this board. no biggie either way but i sure ain't gonna tolerate being lectured to by some trembling ofay about my attitudes on race. the difference between white folks like me and many other whites is, my experiences with blacks has been reality. not pie in the sky pieties about "them poor colored people" who they don't actually know much about, personally. i see blacks as being no different from whites. which means, there can be selfish blacks, evil blacks, cruel blacks, lying blacks, phony blacks, sneaky blacks, two-faced blacks...along with honest blacks, loyal blacks, trustworthy blacks, sweet blacks, kind blacks. you know...jes' like us damn crackers. |
