I don't know if that's accurate but let me clear some things up quickly without getting into a long post.- I find what happened to Floyd so disturbing, that I can't even watch the videos. It's very upsetting. - I think that we have a police problem in the US that impacts all Americans, but disproportionately impacts black Americans. - I have had many negative interactions with the police. I used to be anti-police, but I'm not so much anymore. But I'm not really pro-police either. Most are doing their job the best that they can, but a large minority are terrible. - I don't think that the looting is a sign of support for Floyd nor for police reform. It's opportunistic crime being committed by people with their own agendas. I watched on TV yesterday as a largely black crowd looted a shoe store and when they ran down the block they got jacked by black gangsters that stole the stuff that they just looted. None of that was protesting. |
