Want to know why the riots are happening?Let me give you an excellent example: The noted rapper T.I. made an impassioned plea, on live TV, for people in Atlanta to "stop destroying the city, because Atlanta has always been there for us". T.I. then returned home to his gated community, which had previously arrested him because their security didn't believe he lived there. Racism permeates everything. You don't get to be the arbiter of how people respond to the enormity of the atrocity that caused the death of George Floyd. |
