Without getting into too much detail, that does appear likely to be something Trump would say. I have a friend who Trump was looking to hire at one of his clubs and it got to the point that my friend actually met Trump and other executives. They slip my friend a piece of paper saying that this would be his salary. Needless to say it was well below what someone with my friend's experience would expect for this sort of job. My friend was polite and didn't make a scene. Trump could see that my friend wanted a higher salary and basically said take it or leave it that is what he will pay to offer my friend the privilege of working for the Trump Organization. |
