Thank you for mentioning LibreOffice Calc . I just downloaded it on my computer and will start using it to see how it works out.My Win 7 desktop computer, which I have parked off to the side, using it as a backup, is 11 years old, has Office 2003, and everything has always worked fine, though it has gotten slow. No reinstalling of anything. My Win 10 desktop computer is 5 months old, works fine, very fast EXCEPT Office Home & Student 2019 has now been reinstalled twice. At 2 random times, it simply failed to load when prompted and did not work at all, which has Excel, Word, and PPT. Good thing I have a back up computer. I have no idea why, as a user I don't care why, and can only conclude it yet another one of Microsoft's poorly tested, unstable hunks of shit. Lotus 1-2-3 was big in the 1980's and 90's. I wish it were still relevant. |
