I know. But if you ask an Orthodox Jew if he's ever been to Temple, he'll say no, unless he has been to Temple University. Reform Jews have a specific reason for calling their houses of worship a "temple", but I don't like that they convinced people that that it fills out the analogy Christian:Church::Jew: or Muslim:Mosque::Jew:. |
