Cuomo badly underestimated how many people were actually infectedSo did everyone, because of the lack of testing. 590 people in NYC died on 4/7/2020. Extrapolating backward, that means that roughly 60,000 people became infected in the city each day around 3/10/2020. Had my wife and I had a clue about that, we certainly wouldn't have gone to the theater on 3/7. We (and many other New Yorkers, but far from all) were just lucky. |
