Re: I Am Not Panicking

I am not going to agree with either of you, well all 3 of you I mean, but the writer of the Dilbert Comic made a rather good point on his twitter feed.

Essentially he is pointing out that if America is supposed to be a voluntary democratic country. People should be allowed to volunteer to be stupid and "go back to work", but not be FORCED to. There are obvious flaws, but it is a good devils argument in that

One side shuts everything down using coercion.
The other side wants to force you to risk your health and life without even giving you the option. (I got one a-hole in my state talking about re-opening on day 3 of this fake "shutdown", where I look outside my window, and its as busy as it always is outside).

I am permanently tired of them all and people on every side. One thing I omitted, the Dilbert creator added the condition there there only be one hospital to treat you should you get sick. Then how many of you will volunteer to not quarantine.

Frankly, I feel like I'm dealing with palestinian logic when I open the twitters and facebooks and newspaper here. They never complain about health and safety post tornado, or post hurricane.
