Reading the article, his other investments might have interests in Sanofi. So while his interest from this one fund might be as small as $99, he could have shares elsewhere. The problem with this though is the assumption of facts not in evidence. It relies solely on President Trump's disclosure form regarding his assets. Past statements indicate that President Trump has not always been truthful about his net worth or holdings. While I believe this entire "controversy" is a mountain made out of a mole hill for reasons I have stated previously, I don't believe anyone can say with any certainty how much of an interest President Trump has in Sanofi. |
