This treatment is clearly at best a minor tool in the fight against covid-19. In the last month it's been used on many thousands of people, in many countries, and death rates have not come down in any significant way.

There may be no well-documented large double-blind trials, but the world as a whole makes for a poorly undocumented large trial, and the results are nothing great.
