but company is not , neither is parent company, reason is ancient American shipping laws, registering a ship in US will cost about 400% in maintenance due to tax requirements , yet hardly any dry dock can be used, crewing law would mage that $450 week crew cost about $15000 .

Last US cruise line only lasted 18 months before they went belly up in 2012.
