Posted by Train Dude on Sat Mar 28 14:45:14 2020 Let me preface my remarks by saying that I have probably disliked the man even while I thought that his father was a good governor. As a governor, I thought that Jr. Cuomo has been a failure. That said. I have been listening to his daily briefings as much as I have listened to those of the President. Both are saying essentially the same things from different viewpoints, however, I think the governor has used this opportunity to shine. He's done what I consider an outstanding job of communicating, of leadership and of bipartisanship. I don't know how well this in playing outside of NY State but the democrats might be wise to consider him a last minute replacement for Joe Biden at this point. Granted, Biden has been shoved off the stage by this pandemic but he was never a shining star, anyway. By contrast, based on the spotlight of his handling of this crisis I think Andrew Cuomo could give Donald Trump a run for his money in the national election. Just my opinion. |
