Splitting hairs, though. Implying that the Democrats' warnings of the severity of the virus were a "hoax" = tantamount to suggesting the whole epidemic is a "hoax".Put another way, if I say reports of an approaching Category V hurricane are a "hoax" because I think it's not going to be a dangerous storm, what might people infer from that, if I'm a high-ranking officer of the government? |
