Heh.But somehow NYC drivers manage to get up quite a bit of speed just as they are turning a corner headed into a crosswalk. I see it every day. If an SUV hits you broadside at 20 mph the outcome is not good. A partially blind friend of mine got killed that way. He saw he had a walk light and so he crossed. The driver didn't believe that he had the nerve to not get out of the way. |
