Have you noticed that on this board the one who is most alarmist about this virus is OBS? Not exactly a liberal.I realize that coronavirus is a very serious thing. But note that in the worst city in the entire world for this virus, Wuhan, the death rate so far is about 30 per 100,000 population. That's a bit lower than Baltimore's murder rate and maybe 3 times the annual influenza death rate. This is a bad thing, but not a worldwide disaster (assuming Wuhan is over the worst). |
