I agree. A journalist's right to their own personal, private opinions does not end when that reporter signs on with a news agency.

This does not appear to be a violation of any ethics or conduct clauses that would normally be included in a contract with a television network. ABC is likely on shaky ground in suspending their journalist here. Sting operations carried out by conservatives aren't grounds for off-the-clock discipline.
