That wasn't my experience when I was on the bus. All the female cops I knew in those days were perfectly capable of jumping into a fight and winning over hardened criminals.A female detective did one of the best takedowns I ever saw. She ran a bad guy down (and the suspect was a major player, on a par with old Nicky Barnes), caught him at the end of the block, and threw him right over the hood of an SUV. The guy never knew what hit him. We were sitting 89 right on the corner, and watched the whole thing. |
