When Clinton was impeached, the Senate and the President accepted the facts presented by the House as true.When Trump was impeached, that wasn't the case. Trump is still claiming Sondman lied about his actions and a lot of senators are still supporting that position. But they wouldn't accept a witness who could have corroborated Sondman. |
