That said, I already said it should stay legal....but when that heartbeat starts, I think the line should be drawn you had time before that.That's the thing. That's an emotional view. A heartbeat doesn't make a "thing" (for lack of a better term) into a person. Many other animals have heartbeats. You might feel that heartbeat and feel a connection to it, but someone who doesn't want a baby won't. When that fetus develops a human brain, you won't be able to feel that, but it has something that truly separates us from the other animals. Then it would be homicide. |
