That's because you were looking forward to a child being born, and took any opportunity to enjoy the process. It's way different when a woman doesn't want the child and aborts the embryo long before anything kicks or there's a heartbeat. By the time those magical things happen, that's a baby. Humanity doesn't begin at the moment of birth. |
