It's like nukes. If Russia has nukes, the US needs nukes. If Republicans gerrymander wherever they can, Democrats need to also.There could be a non-aggression treaty (aka Constitutional Amendment), but Republicans would need to be willing to give up their gerrymanders for that to work. |
