And you know for a fact that he would have returned to court on his return date? That's what bail is for. It's security the same as security when renting an apartment. The judge might set low bail or no bail if he thinks the subject will return and high bail if he deems the subject a flight risk. He couldn't be convicted of these "alleged" crimes if he disappears.Calling bail Legalized ransom is one of the stupidest things I've heard in years, not counting Luch's posts. |
