I should be less flippant on this. There's a wiki-jihad movement that I've encountered where they will even revert spelling corrections made on their pages of fictional villages and there's nothing to be done. There's now special groups springing up to combat this nonsense.This is in additional to those old stories we've heard about Wikipedia. Like the author who corrects an entry about a book he wrote, only to be blocked because you can only use 2nd-ary sources. Which is easy enough to fix. Make a fake website and site it. |
