Hmm.Sinn Fein got 47% of the vote in Northern Ireland, DUP 43%, and non-sectarian parties who very much want to stay in the EU got 10%. Looks like a solid majority supporting the closest possible ties with the Republic. Doesn't look good for the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland even before considering what might happen with Scotland. |
