I always attempt to put myself in the position of the individual I am debating against or arguing with no matter how silly and close minded said individual seems to me. I always try to give the benefit of the doubt; that is, perhaps zie is dealing with personal demons or professional issues. I think I have a relatively high threshold and consider myself fairly tolerant and patient.

That written, I cannot in good conscience excuse the behavior of those people things as simply a matter of being vulnerable and innocent by virtue of their environment. No, those things in the video are ignorant and evil. Period.
