Not only that, but this was the time when he was borrowing money like if it was for free. When his earnings fell far short of his debts, he declared bankruptcy and stiffed his bondholders. I remember how The Motley Fool didn't fall for his BS, shorted his stock, and made off with a tidy profit. |
