I think the outcome in Florida in 2018 had two factors going against the Democrats, neither of which should be there in 2020 (but Democrats love to lose, so maybe not):1. The gubernatorial candidate was a Sanderista. A more moderate could have won. 2. The Senate race was a close one that Democrats basically ignored in favor of other states. I don’t think Florida will be ignored by Democrats in the presidential. |
