Many minorities are simply unprepared with those foundations and it gets exacerbated when they go to a school beyond their capabilities.Do you actually have real evidence that this happens with any significant kind of frequency*? Colleges don't actually want it to happen - they don't get brownie points if they let in lots of minorities and then fail most of them out. * Except maybe for "open admissions" policies, and even there the college usually insist on remedial courses before such students get into the regular curriculum. |
