Not to mention that it’s lawyers who do jury selection. Judges only rule on disputes between them.That ain't how it worked when I was called for jury duty last month. The judge asked all the questions. I answered as I stood at the bench between the defended and his counsel on my right and the states attorney on my left. The judge then ask the lawyers if I should remain in the pool of prospective jurors. Both lawyers said no. John in the sand box of Maryland's eastern shore. |
