I cast votes based on leadership and policy but equally on character. Take the microphones and cameras and public gatherings and interviews away and both Hillary Clinton and Al Gore are/were, in a few words, arrogant and condescending. Most do not see that side. I have spoke with military pilots, as in more than one, who flew said individuals. Those two were as described not so much toward the pilots but rather the young enlisted personnel who were just trying to do their job in a respectful manner and to the utmost of their ability. A slight mark on a glass, a meal not quite hot enough, a cabin a little too cool, a sink a little slow to drain, etc. Bill Clinton, on the other hand, someone I did not vote for (character issues), was warm and friendly to everyone.I voted for Hillary with eyes shut, gritted teeth, and a clenched jaw.
