Show me where a wall will prevent those overstaying valid visas? If we really wanted to crackdown on illegal immigration we should be cutting most temporary visas including, but not limited to, those that allow Mar-a-Lago and similarly situated places to hire low paid seasonal workers rather than unemployed Americans. These people are likely to have little in the way of skills and if they were to suddenly overstay their visa would be more likely to become a public charge. |
