It's a long one to be sure, Dave - I just got through a little over half the article. It is a well written document, probably a little more suited to you with your interest and background in finance and accounting. The technical and business side of the equation was an interesting read with respect to timelines and outsourcing. From my standpoint, why was MCAS, whatever the intent of the system, not brought to the attention of the operator. How many of us have really explored in depth, I mean really explored, our auto manual. Aviation is a different animal. As for the reasons pilots were left in the dark blind and ignorant of MCAS, I suppose now I know. In the end, I know. |
