Just a little off the topic. I was listening to FOX Brett Bayer on my way home this evening. He and a female gursg were discussing the current Warren flap. The female said that now that she's the front runner, Warren can expect to have "her turn in the barrel".Now for all the years that I've heard that comment, I've always believed it to have come from the punchline of a joke. Considering the nature of the joke, I thought it odd that a female might make that comment. Is there another reasonable alternate origin to that saying? |
