His border security plans are centered on his idiotic wallAgree here. But, deportation raids and detaining those who would cross illegally are not different than the past. Current left is calling for the end of raids and detention. Thus he is closer to Obama than the current left. He wanted a medieval-style moat with alligators or shooting at border crossers. I read about that, it sounded like someone took a joke seriously, or cherry picked the more ridiculous parts of a brainstorming session and leaked it to the press. Not an official statement. Wow, what an achievement It's an achievement that Obama was not able to deliver despite making the same promise. Besides, if you believed left media hyperbole around 2016 we should have been nuked 10x over by now. I am opposed to tariffs and was opposed to Sanders in 2016. I like tariffs, and I liked Sanders in 2016. The current Sanders is regurgitating too much far left nonsense for me to take seriously now. That, and heart attack. |
