Where the cost of living is lower usually wages are too.Sometimes yes, other times no. The bottom line is what can you afford to buy with your pay. It makes no sense to keep looking for a lower-paying job in an area where the cost of living is very high. Would you rather make $15/hr in a city where a 2BR house costs $1 million plus, or $10/hr in a city where a 2BR house costs $200,000? |
