They might as well. The entire history of negotiations is that Israel would NEVER gain anything but a temporary cessation of hostilities, but would give up something concrete. This is not a good strategy for Israel.Any time Israel would do ANYTHING; build apartments for Jews in an area the Arabs CLAIM is theirs, do an archaeological dig; even build a light rail line through an Arab neighborhood, we have violence and/or international condemnation. |
