Why should gas tanks get bigger?Even for gasoline powered cars, tanks have gotten smaller. I once owned a car with a 20 gallon tank that I could drive 400 miles without refueling. I just rented a car last week, drove it 350 miles before refueling, and it was almost on empty. It took less than 10 gallons. So maybe 60% the tank size and the same range. The U.S. Dollar was the first decimalized currency. Bring back the farthing! |
