DACA is actually a pretty reasonable response to people who have lived in the US for much of their lives since childhood. Do you think it's reasonable to send somebody back to a country of which they are totally unfamiliar with, because they've been in the US since they were babies? I consider this part of immigration reform, and not necessarily the start of doing away with ICE and open borders. Again, I don't recall Pelosi or Schumer even considering that a viable option, and rightly so.

As for the Palestinians, I don't have a deep well of sympathy for them, but Ariel Sharon, WMATAGOAGH(sp), etc., have a point: Israel doesn't have a lot of options at this point without doing something really illegal. I'd be deliriously happy if the Palestinians voluntarily picked up and left the West Bank and Gaza Strip, but we all know that's not going to happen. Setting up new settlements in Area C may be just a "shady" negiotiation tactic, but other heavy handed tactics such as appropriating land rightfully owned by Palestinians and putting bureaucratic road blocks before Palestinians but not Israeli settlers rubs me the wrong way. In any case, the status quo cannot hold for much longer, IMO, and Netanyahu is doing less than nothing when dealing with it.
