I decided to get money ahead of time at a bank. Nice 8 or so pip cut off the top.
The rest of the world has exchange booths everywhere. Find a decent looking booth in a crowded highrise, she gave me the full value with zero fee. If it's 1.31 per dollar, I got 1.31.
They say watch out for counterfeit, but you know who looks like a cheat and where it doesn't.

Next time, I'm waiting.
